Mrs. Stephanie Mooney joined the Catholic High faculty for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs Mooney earned both her Bachelors of Science Education in Secondary Mathematics and Masters of Science Education in Secondary Leadership from the University of Central Arkansas. She began teaching in the Pulaski County Special School District in 1993, and taught and coached at several different secondary schools for 12 years. In 2005, Mrs. Mooney began her next 13 years at Conway High School. She then finished her 30 year public school teaching career at Mayflower High School in 2023. Mrs. Mooney will be teaching Algebra 1, Algebra II, and Finite Mathematics part time.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
