Lisa Conyer joined the Catholic High faculty in the 2024–2025 school year. Mrs. Conyer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and began her teaching career in 1985. For nearly 40 years, she has taught college and high school level courses in education and English, including AP English Language & Composition and AP English Literature & Composition, with a particular passion for American and British literature and writing instruction. A former AP Consultant and English Department Chair, Mrs. Conyer is the recipient of the 2011 Stephens Award Recipient in Education and two Jackson T. Stephens Distinguished Teacher Awards. Mrs. Conyer will be teaching sophomore and junior English.
