Mrs. Elicia Davis joined the Catholic High faculty in the 2023-2024 school. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Averett University in Bio-medical Biology. She went on to earn her Collegiate Professional Teaching License through the state of Virginia. Mrs. Davis’s teaching career began in Virginia where she taught a variety of science courses at Hargrave Military School, an all male military boarding school, and Chatham High School. In 2017, she moved to Arkansas to teach at at another private school where she taught both middle and upper school science courses. During her time there she created and implemented a Genetics course, planned and executed a middle school wide STEAM Expo, and was highlighted in Inviting Arkansas’s Women in STEAM article, March 2022. Mrs. Davis will be teaching General Chemistry, General Biology, and Physical Science.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
