Coach Chip Reeves joined the Catholic High faculty in the 2016-2017 school year. He took a two year sabbatical to help his family in 2020 and 2021 to help with their cattle operation. Coach Reeves earned his Bachelors of Arts from Henderson State University in PE and Health and his Masters in Educational Leadership from Harding University in 2011. He began coaching in 2005, at Lafayette County before heading to Malvern where he was part of the 2008 and 2010 State Championships runner up for baseball and 2011 football runner up. Prior to joining Catholic High, he coached receivers for the Malvern Leopards for ten years. In addition to teaching Health and PE, he is the defensive back coach for the Rockets football team.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
