Catholic High School for Boys has a strong commitment to serving the educational needs of young men regardless of their family’s financial situation. The primary purpose of financial aid is to provide financial assistance to young men who would otherwise be unable to attend Catholic High. Inability to pay full tuition should not deter a boy from applying for admission. Additionally, our mission is to help these young men become good husbands, good fathers, and good leaders in the community.
Catholic High School does not grant academic or athletic scholarships. All financial assistance is based on financial need. Catholic High uses a third-party company, FACTS, for processing applications.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family’s financial need. Catholic High School receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents. While calculations supplied by FACTS offer important guidelines for financial assistance, rulings on final awards ultimately rest with the rector and the principal.
The Arkansas Activities Association, which oversees all interscholastic athletic competition in Arkansas, requires that any non-public school provide verification that all students competing in sports receive no more financial aid than is needed as determined by an independent service. Therefore, any student who receives financial assistance and might possibly compete in interscholastic competition must have a release form signed that authorizes the school to provide information to the AAA if so requested. At Catholic High School, over 75% of the student body participates in such interscholastic competition.
