Mrs. Lisa Connell joined the Catholic High faculty in the 2010-2011 school year. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas in Applied Mathematics. She then earned a graduated certificate from the University of Arkansas Little Rock in Applied Statistics. She is currently working on her Masters in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Arkansas. Prior to joining Catholic High, she taught at Mount St. Mary Academy from 1994-1995 and in the spring 2002. Mrs. Connell currently teaches Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Religion. In addition to her classroom role, she is the quiz bowl coach, coordinator for class ties and textbooks.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
